I wouldn't trade our diocese (or our priests) for the world, but Tulsa's got it going on. Goodness, look how their bishop loves these women, and rightly so! They've pledged themselves to pray for the well-being of priests and for vocations, and they get some holy bling in return. Could this be a new trend?
Our diocese has a similar program and we are treated royally at our seminary almost monthly. No fancy medals or cards with calligraphy -- only the holiest Mass possible, rosary, and coffee with some marvelous fellows. It is a privilege and a wonderful opportunity.
Nag your bishop, promise your priests the moon if they'll set this up for you -- but regardless, pray for them!

Dear Genevieve,
Thanks for this post and for the prayers. God bless Tulsa, but there's no place like home! What a joy and comfort to know that holy women from the Diocese of Providence are lifting us up to the Father daily.
In His Peace,
Fr. Mahar

I have no idea where I've been but I didn't realize that we were beginning this ministry in the Diocese! I should start reading the Rhode Island Catholic more closely!

Alas, the RI Catholic hasn't promoted it or even commented on it. You should write to Fr Najim on that site and asked to be included in his notification of upcoming dates.

What a blessing! I'd heard of the spiritual motherhood movement, but did not realize that it was getting so formal.
