This woman does.
According to Mark Durie:
This is an extraordinarily courageous YouTube video of Nagla Al-Imam, an Egyptian attorney and prominent human rights activist, who has recently converted from Islam to Christ. In this video she sings a spiritual song together with her two children, asking Christ to hold their hands and strengthen them as they go through the high waves of persecution.
Ms Al-Imam posted this video after she was reportedly bashed by the Egyptian security forces: the bruises are clearly visible on her face, and she can barely open her mouth to sing: perhaps her jaw was broken in the assault.
According to Shari'a law, she now risks losing her law career, her status in society and even custody of her children. What she gains is a relationship with the One True God, recognition of her dignity as a person and as a woman (in His image and likeness) and the grace to endure all that may befall her.
She will also have our prayers, correct? Do not fail this sister in Christ.
NOTA BENE: please note that there is an opportunity to sign a petition in support of religious freedom. Kindly augment your essential prayers with some mundane pressure to help converts like these around the world.
UPDATE: Mark Durie notes a discouraging twist --
The web site for Al-Tarek, which is the TV station Nagla al-Imam broadcasts from, has posted a message (click here for a Google Translation) the heading of which reads: "The disappearance of Nagla Al-Imam and her children."
It says that Al-Tarek staff have been unable to make contact with Ms Al-Imam for many days and it has come to their attention that people who are close to her cannot find her or her children anywhere. It also reports that Al-Tarek's office in Egypt has been vandalized by Egyptian security forces.

Hard to believe but still true how Christians are persecuted even to death in the 21st century.

So sad to see this. And to think that Egypt, along with the rest of North Africa and the Levant, used to be such vibrant centers of the Christian faith. Then came Islam...
And then the hypocrisy of many Muslims is just appalling. They'll howl and rage and complain at the slightest perceived insult, yet they tolerate this kind of mess in their own countries. It's as if it's ok for them to persecute others, but it's an unforgivable crime if you so much as suggest anything negative about their religion.

Thanks for posting this. Will pray for that Mom and her kids. I see what appears to be a drawing of the Blessed Virgin in the background. May Mother Mary walk with her and intercede for her in this time of need.

"They'll howl and rage and complain at the slightest perceived insult, yet they tolerate this kind of mess in their own countries."
That's how inferior cultures get power over a superior culture.
