First of all, belatedly I'm getting to this month's marvelous newsletter from Kristen West McGuire. She has graciously offered it free to feminine-genius readers, and this is how it works.
It's called Secretum Meum Mihi (which translates to "My Secret is Mine" -- all explained within. Hint: Edith Stein!) Click on the Subscriber only headline, when box pops up, enter (all lower case) username = breslau and then password = native. Enjoy!
Of course, if you enjoy it enough, you can subscribe, and it you really love it, the whole idea, and the possibility of transforming more than just yourselves, you can subscribe in bulk and copy it freely for your women's group, twenty best friends, or whomever. Kristen's been pondering this whole topic for years and years -- through thick and thin, baby after baby, in crisis and out -- so she's a deep well of wisdom.
Now secondly, just a reminder.
Having had a chance to talk with a member of the Daughters of Saint Paul this past weekend, I found that The Book is a favourite in their stores. Being an author is interesting in that you write and you write, but you don't always know where those words go. I do hear some feedback, but it would probably be best for my humility to carry on without knowing the effects for now.
I would like to remind those who might choose The Authentic Catholic Woman for their book clubs or study groups, there is a study guide available. The chapters are written for this purpose, of similar length and of near independent standing, and the guide is available on request. It's simple and can be reproduced as needed.
My address is gskineke [at] feminine-genius [dot] com. Thank you, now back to laundry.
